Refund Policy

This policy explains how refund requests are submitted, reviewed, approved, and reconciled for ticket purchases made through TicketLegend.

1. Overview

Refunds on TicketLegend are policy-based and event-specific. Eligibility may depend on organiser rules, timing, ticket status, and payment conditions.

2. Event-specific refund rules

Refund cutoffs and conditions may vary by event. Where available, organiser policy is displayed on event and checkout pages before payment.

3. How to request a refund

Buyers can request refunds from supported order/ticket pages. If needed, contact support with your order number, event name, ticket number, and purchase email.

4. Review process

Refund requests are reviewed by organiser/admin teams. Status updates are provided in the ticketing workflow and/or by email where available.

5. Payfast refund processing for launch

Approved refunds are reconciled manually through the Payfast Dashboard for launch. The platform does not currently claim automatic Payfast refund API execution.

6. Non-refundable cases may include

  • Requests submitted after the event refund cutoff.
  • Tickets already checked in/scanned where policy blocks scanned-ticket refunds.
  • Tickets already cancelled or already refunded.
  • No-show attendance where organiser policy does not allow refunds.
  • Violation of event or venue rules.
  • Service/platform fees where policy marks those fees as non-refundable.

7. Event cancelled or postponed

If an event is cancelled or postponed, available options may include refund, rescheduled attendance, or organiser-provided alternatives communicated through official event channels.

8. Refunded/cancelled tickets

Refunded or cancelled tickets are invalid for entry. Their QR codes are rejected by the scanner/check-in system at the venue.

9. Processing times

Refund timing depends on review completion, Payfast workflow steps, banks, and payment method timelines. Specific completion dates are not guaranteed.
